The Gluggable Project is an initiative created to share the recipes that have brought Canadians happiness during one of the most challenging times in our lives.
Since the pandemic started, we’ve faced loss, hardship, and the need to overcome and endure. And as much as it has forced us apart, it’s also brought us together. As a country under lockdown, we stayed home and were reacquainted with our kitchens. From trying new recipes or finding solace in comfort foods to preparing extra meals for housebound friends, or simply just making-do with what’s in the pantry, Canadians explored food in new and different ways. And in a time that we’d like to forget, we believe your recipes and the stories surrounding them are worth remembering – and sharing.
You can join The Gluggable Project by sharing a recipe that’s brought you happiness during the pandemic. A selection of the collected recipes will be published in a commemorative cookbook benefiting Food Banks Canada.
Submit your recipe below – and tell us why it’s special to you for a chance to be featured in The Gluggable Project Cookbook
